About
Aaron was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at the age of six. A few months later we learned about the Family Hope Center in Pennsylvania. They work with people who have all types of neurologically-based developmental disorders under the premise that the brain can heal. They teach parents where the child’s brain is compromised and what to do to build its function. The parents are the therapists. At his first evaluation Aaron was assessed at 54% brain function, and now, two years later he’s at 77.2%. The best part of it is that Aaron can tell he’s improving.
Aaron is featured in one of the Family Hope Center’s ads. If you’d like to read more about their results, click here.
One of Aaron’s greatest desires is to reach out and inspire and help other kids like himself. That is the purpose of this blog. Aaron will be helped by his parents, but most of what you will read are Aaron’s own words describing his journey to awareness of the world and the people around him.
